2009 Cottonwood 200 - February 13 Update
photo

Greetings! 2009 rider entries are on a record pace - 52 as of today. This is well ahead of any previous year. The previous record was 31 as of the second week in February. If we stay on this pace we will fill by the end of April.

Because of renovations to the high school, this year we will be staying in gym of the Council Grove Middle School/Elementary School. We will still have access to showers and will have space around the school for those who wish to camp outside. However, given the new accomodations we may need to close the ride at 200 riders rather than 250. I plan to visit Council Grove soon and confirm the size of the accomodations.

This year, for the first time in several years, the Chase County Courthouse in Cottonwood Falls is completely renovated and will be fully available for tours on Sunday. You will not want to miss a visit to this beautiful building.

As with every year, volunteers are always needed and appreciated. If you know someone interested in volunteering (means free entry!) please contact me at director@cottonwood200.org
